Step-by-step: How Driver Robot installed all of the drivers we needed on our PC
Test preparation and initial hardware scan
To prepare for this test, we put a fresh copy of Windows Vista on to our test machine without any drivers whatsoever. The computer is completely dependent on the crippled built-in Vista drivers.
Driver Robot identified our computer as a PC, and its hardware scan identified 23 components that were missing their drivers. We weren't surprised!
Driver scan results and recommendations
After the driver scan concluded, Driver Robot showed us the damage. It turned out that it found the right driver for every single one of the 23 components.
We told Driver Robot to begin downloading the new drivers from the driver website.
